Microsoft Announces Official Xbox Wireless Headset
Are you enjoying your new generation Xbox? Then enhance the experience with an official wireless headset being made by Microsoft themselves. It’ll be $99 USD and releasing on March 16th in “most worldwide Xbox markets”.
It also contains voice isolation features and it even supports spatial audio technology such as Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Headphone: X. At peak performance, a 3-hour charge can result in the headset providing 15 hours of gaming time.
Xbox Wire Project Architect and Lead Erik Garcia said that “we spent a lot of time in the audio testing chambers trying to characterize and understand how the headset reproduces audio in different room environments. It goes in your living room, game room, and dorm room and we want it to sound the best for all types of audio. In the same way, the team studied gameplay to ensure great sounding chat with a sensitive mic to prevent background noise”.
