Mario 128 Finally Confirmed?
Games Radar UK recently posted the below:
It’s been seen less than Bigfoot, Nessie or the Marie Celeste. After all, the last time we actually spotted Mario 128 was at Spaceworld back in 2000. Since then, it has disappeared back into the brilliant brain of Shiggsy himself and on to the wanted list of every Gamecube owner across the globe.
But while the game has vanished, the rumours never go away. Hardly an E3 or Tokyo Game Show goes by without the gossip hinting at the vague possibility of an appearance from the plump plumber. But now Miyamoto has confirmed that Mario 128 is destined for Gamecube and not the next-generation Nintendo console often referred to as Revolution.
Talking to Japanese mag Famitsu, the Ninty legend said, “The next Mario, which we are still calling Mario 128, will be released for the Nintendo Gamecube when it is complete. Though at this time, I cannot comment on when you will see this game launch.”
Which should be just about vague enough to keep the rumour mill turning for at least another four years. Cheers Mr M.
So maybe its not just a myth or a silly dream, keep with TSSZ News for more on the very possible Mario 128.
