NiGHTS Birthday News: Lucid Dreaming Launches & SEGA Finally Asks The Question
Good news for NiGHTS fans, Overclocked Remix’s NiGHTS album project Lucid Dreaming has now gone live. We’ll be adding it to the Depository in a short space of time, but for now you need to head on over here at great speed: lucid.ocremix.org
Our very good friends NiGHTSintoDreams.com are heavily involved…. and we may have give a teeny-weeny assist at one point.
In a nice Community twist, we just had this tweet through from NiD admin TRiPPY:
Oh man X) I just heard that the two Opera singers on the ‘Dies, Nox et Omnia’ NiGHTS track got engaged a few days ago!! 😀 EEEE <3 love.
More fan engagements! Weddings everywhere!
Also proving that they have not forgot about NiGHTS (though waking up in America to finding a lot of us yelling about it probably helped) SEGA have gone on their Facebook to finally ask the question about whether or not fans would like a port:
To our wonderful NiGHTS fans – we haven’t forgotten that today is the 15th anniversary of NiGHTS, so happy 15th anniversary to NiGHTS and huge thank you! to everyone for supporting the character and game for all these years! How would you feel about seeing the original “NiGHTS into dreams…” being re-released? Also, if you think this is a good idea… which platform do you think NiGHTS should be released in? We’d love to hear your thoughts!
If like us you remember that the NiGHTS fansbase has for the best part of a year been screaming at SEGA about their NiD15 campaign, which has a large number of fans visibly signed up to it you might be wondering why there’s even a need to ask about demand from our fans when SEGA clearly already knows. Whatever the case, it’s nice they would mention it – the post already has over 700 likes and 540 comments at the time of writing.
