Here it is, the final Sonic2K contest (according to the SA Online main page). The top 15 were extremely close, only .35 seconds separated them:

Now, on to the World Rankings Competition, where some things have changed dramatically. The rules have been changed a bit, and the folks @ Sega have sweetened the pot to get you to enter. Here are the prizes one gets for 1st through 10th place.

First prize will get you a 1st place trophy, a Sonic Champion T-Shirt, and 5 World Rankings Points. More on these points later.

Second prize gets a 2nd place trophy, a Sonic Champion T-Shirt, and 4 WR points. Third gets you a 3rd place trophy, a T-Shirt, and 3 WR points. Those from fourth through tenth place only get a T-shirt and one WR point. Additionally, those who have already received a T-shirt will not get another one; instead those will go to next one down who hasn’t received one (ie if someone was in tenth and they have already received a T-shirt, they can’t get another one; instead it goes to the eleventh place person).

Here’s the great part: At the end of the World Rankings contests, the points are totaled up, and the top 10 people with the largest amount of points receive a complete set of Sonic Adventure plush dolls and a custom made Sonic jacket!
