K-Mart, Wal-Mart Restricting Sales of M-Rated Games
In what is a victory for certain senators we won’t mention on this website *coughLiebermancough*, big time chains Wal-Mart and K-Mart will immediately institute a policy that will not allow those under 17 to buy games with the ESRB’s Mature rating. Now, cashiers will ask for ID to prove the buyer is 17 or older.
It seems as if the senators are happy for now, though banning the games altogether would be their preference. (Editorial Note: It’s not gonna happen, even if I have to come to Capitol Hill and rip that bill into little tiny pieces…is that legal to say?)
