Game Gear’s Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Spins Onto 3DS

The Nintendo 3DS is soon going to have more hedgehogs to choose from. The eShop download service will soon have the Game Gear classic Sonic the Hedgehog 2, officially the first game to feature our favourite two tailed flying fox (albeit in a non-playable role). However, it is only confirmed for the Japanese 3DS service. There is no confirmation for an American or European release, but watch this space.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will be available for download in the Japanese eShop on the 31st October for 300 Yen.
