Evan Stanley: “I Really Got The Bad News [About Archie Sonic Cancellation] Back In January”
Details about the Archie Sonic cancellation continue to trickle in, but this one in particular is pretty significant.
Evan Stanley recently responded to a fan on her Tumblr, where she commented a bit more about the cancellation. It turns out that she “got the bad news back in January”, contradicting PR by companies saying that they were “in talks”. It also contradicts the argument that the Archie Sonic team were not being told about what’s going on much more complicated. It seems prior knowledge of the situation depends on who you talked to.
I really got the bad news back in January and dealt with it then, but yesterday’s official confirmation was still a bitter blow. It’ll be a while ‘till I’m back to my usual self.
I’ll do a long post on it later, but right now I’m emotional and likely to say something dumb, so I’ll wait.

Wow, to think when I asked her in person months ago, that she actually did know about this. I mean, I guess her hands were tied, and maybe she was still holding on to some form of hope for things changing last second, but still, it’s got to be rough knowing that the worst possible thing is happening and that you can’t even tell any other fans about it.
@SSF1991: You might want to grammar check this.
It also contradicts makes the argument that the Archie Sonic team were not being told about what’s going on much more complicated.
Fixed!
