Dreamcast to be Sold in India
Sega has signed a deal with network developer SPA Enterprises, which means that the company will reach a potentially critical market as the Dreamcast will begin being sold in the country of India next month. There are more than seventy million families with TVs in India, none of them occupied by any gaming system since India has been left untapped by the video game industry. 120,000 DCs will ship on the currently undecided launch date, and Sega expects one million to sell in India by the end of 2002. No word on a price point right now, though.
