Dreamcast Sonic Compilation in 2001?

SwirlVision reports after an interview with a Sonic Team rep that to celebrate the tenth ‘birthday’ of Sonic in 2001, a special compilation of Sonic classics from back in the day will surface on the Dreamcast, a la Sonic Jam! If true, we’ll see this sometime next year. We don’t know exactly what would be on the disc, but the Genesis Sonic games from 1991 to 1994 (Sonic 1, 2, 3, and Knuckles) are likely candidates, in addition to more games. We will pass along any new information on this as soon as we get it.
