Dreamcast Porn Bust

It finally had to happen–someone has used the Internet capabilities of the Dreamcast to engage in illegal pornographic activities.

Core Magazine reports today that in Toyama, part of Japan, two boys were arrested in connection to using the Internet, including the Dreamcast, to buy and sell videos depicting child pornography. The sales were made in online bulletin boards. This is all part of a continuing investigation by Japanese police.

Police claim that the two boys used the Dreamcast to access the Internet and obtain the illegal material. Now, the Dreamcast has been seized as evidence linking to the crime in addition to other pornographic material.

On a more editorial note, friends, this is what you should not be using your Dreamcast for. Dead or Alive 2 or what not is fine, but please do not do this. You tarnish your image, and that of Sega
