Current & Former BigRedButton Employees Give Company Feedback
Perhaps the most positive news on BigRedButton in the last year is, coincidentally, from within the company.
Reviews have gone up over the past six months on BigRedButton. Although it is now cached as of a few weeks ago it is still viewable in the link we’ve provided which contains four reviews that current and former employees of the company have voiced their pros, cons, and recommendations on.
The reviews are very positive, all of them praising the company’s work hours, management, care of employees, and more. One reviewer mentions the atmosphere is “conducive to experimentation”.
As with every company, however, there were flaws. That same reviewer mentions that the company is “a bit scattered”. The following reviews stand out more, referencing what has happened in the past. Two reviewers don’t criticize the company but rather the video game industry, calling it “volatile”.
It references an even more familiar project. Two reviews reference their first game. One called it “a rocky start”. Another called their first title “rough” which “encountered unfortunate setbacks”. One used this as an example of their criticism of the industry saying it’s “A volatile market for startups of this size”.
Nevertheless all of them agree that the company is friendly, respectful, and great to work at. It is a complete 180, which is striking considering the last news from within BigRedButton itself was not so good. Perhaps internal measures were taken since last year. If that’s the case whatever project they work on next may have a more positive fate.
