Crush 40 Confirmed for Sonic Boom 2013
There is good news and not so good news for those planning to travel to St. Louis, Missouri next month for the 2013 Sonic Boom fan convention.
The good news is what when tickets went on sale earlier this morning, the purchase page confirmed Crush 40 would be coming along for the ride, performing once again at the event. It remains to be seen whether the crew will make the trip to the UK for Summer of Sonic, which is just a week earlier. It may prove to be a bit more difficult this time around, given the relatively quick turnaround compared to other years.
The not so good news is that despite some fans’ assumption Sega moved Boom to a midwestern city in order to keep costs at bay, ticket prices to the event went way up this year. While Sega’s Facebook event page for Sonic Boom advertises a price of $23, the actual cost when factoring in TicketMaster fees is $29. That represents a 45 percent price increase year-over-year.
Still, if you want to get your tickets now, you can click the link above to get started. It will be interested to see if event sales this year surpasses last year, when we learned Boom only sold to 80 percent capacity. Thanks to AugieD who tipped us on Twitter.
