Blaze Shoots Down AfterSAGE Cries

SAGE was a major event, but some booths did not make it to the public. A few want Blaze to considering organizing ‘AfterSAGE’, a mini-expo which would showcase booths that didn’t make it around the first time. The reason for this? The next SAGE will be February 9th…six long months. However, Blaze posted this on the SFGHQ MB, and he is sticking to it:

“May be delayed”? Excuse me? Not if I have anything to say about it! Unless you plan on sabotaging it in 6 months.

Look, you have my deepest apologies and all. But, remember, it’s like Hammond on Jurassic Park said… “You should have seen Disneyland on opening day. Nothing worked.”

Being this first SAGE and all I’m ALLOWED to make mistakes, Febuary 9th I won’t have an excuse. Besides, I only forgot what? 3 booths? maybe 4 tops? That’s like, hardly anything!

AfterSAGE will just give the real SAGE a bad image, and I want to strive to look the best that I can. I made small simple mistakes that hopefully won’t happen again.

I do care about those I missed, but frankly I see no point in AfterSAGE other than correcting a small mistake that doesn’t really need correcting. Accidents happen, and I won’t make the same accident happen twice.

6 months is not too long, either. It’s not my fault if “half these people won’t be here in 6 months.” (yeah right, I’ve known 75% of this messageboard for almost a year now Wetflame) — if that’s the case, then they are newbies, and probably didn’t have anything to show that was worth it in the first place.

Look, I know your miffed and I’m glad you took the time to at least try to talk to me civilized and calm, and I hope I haven’t made you like, raging angry or anything, but AfterSAGE is just rather…ehh… I dunno, it just feels pointless. The big event is over, and done with, AfterSAGE just feels pointless.

If you are devoted to your games and making them, well then I’ll see you Febuary 9th 2001, okay?
