Andre Dirk Bids Farewell

Some people think he’s the pioneer of the Sonic Secret site boom. Others downright hate him. He’s been under investigation for E-Mail bombing. But today, he’s gone.

Yes, Andre Dirk will no longer be running Secrets of Sonic the Hedgehog, a site he started in October of 1998, anymore. The new webmaster is someone nicknamed Knuckles the Echidna. This message was posted today, along with the original format:

Today is a bittersweet day for sonic fans world wide for today an old site is reborn but not of its original creator..For today as the torch is passed to a new generation. We say farewell to Andre Dirk… Andre, Secrets of Sonic was a great site while you were running it and you deserve a lot of respect for the work you did. Thanks for everything Andre and farewell, good luck to you in everything you pursue. You will be missed but never be forgotten….

Some people support the change, others do not. In any case, though, we’ll miss you Andre. Good luck.
