An Elder Scrolls Netflix Series Is Rumoured To Be In Development
To say that Netflix is embracing video gaming is an understatement. There have already been confirmations of a series based on Assassin’s Creed and there’s likely to be a proper announcement for a Sonic The Hedgehog series very soon. And there’s now rumours of another one that is in development.
According to a new report that has appeared, Netflix is seeking to form a partnership with Bethesda to create a series based on The Elder Scrolls. The intention is to do a live-action series and for it to be, according to ComicBook, “just as massive as The Witcher if it were to come to fruition”. Bethesda is currently helping with the development of a Fallout series on Amazon, so there’s definitely an interest to do something like this. There’s no official word from Bethesda or Netflix yet, but once there is, we’ll let you know.
