Alien: Isolation, Panzer Dragoon Remake Announced During E3 Nintendo Direct
There was a little more Sega representation left in the last round of E3 reveals for the week. It came via this afternoon’s Nintendo Direct.
Mentioned in one of the final montages of upcoming titles, Sega’s Alien: Isolation, a well-received entry in the series from Sega’s Creative Assembly studio, will be coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year. A specific release date was not disclosed.
More exciting is the revival of the Panzer Dragoon series, first developed and published by Sega in 1995 for the Saturn. This time around, as has been the case with most of Sega’s recent revivals of classic IP, an outside studio will be handling the remakes. Note we said the plural – plans to remaster both the ’95 original and 1996’s Panzer Dragoon Zwei are underway for the Switch.
You can watch a trailer of Panzer Dragoon below. A release is expected this Winter.
