A Pokemon Trading Card Game Base Set Box Has Been Auctioned Off

Heritage Auctions, a Dallas, Texas-based collectibles-specialized auction house, held an auction last week for a sealed booster box of Base Set from the Pokemon Trading Card Game. The auction has finished, and the item now has a new owner.

Thomas Fish, president of blowoutcards.com, was the winning bidder at a grand total of $360,000, a new record for this kind of item. Fish also spent $22,800 on a Gem Mint 10 copy of the Pokémon Demo Game Sealed Booster Pack. An image of the Pokemon Trading Card Game Base Set is down below.
