90s Super GP Reference Spotted in Another Pelikan13 Project

If Phantasy Star Online 2 can launch in North America years after it was supposed to–it is on Windows later today, BTW–then surely so can ’90s Super GP, also known as The ’90s Arcade Racer when this community’s own Pelikan13 successfully Kickstarted it in 2013.

It was supposed to launch on Wii U. Publisher Nicalis picked up the project, and moved it to a Switch launch. It has not been heard from since.

Pelikan13 has since moved on to a new project, The TakeOver, and ahead of the game’s launch on Switch next week, he appears not to have forgotten his roots:

That may be of little comfort for those who backed the project several years back with nothing to show for it now, but Pelikan13 has at least shown he hasn’t forgotten about his first major project after that famed Sonic Fan Remix prototype from now 10 years ago.
