The Sonic Wrecks Advent Calendar – Win Sonic Chronicles!
The third of December and yet another competition!
This time I want to know which Sonic character do you think would make (as in cook) the best Christmas dinner – and why. The best answer I get in the comments section by the end of Saturday will get a copy of Sonic Chronicles winging its way to them. Its literally as simple as that.
Sonic and his friends band together to defeat a menacing new enemy in a distinctly new game that includes combat, skill, collectables and puzzles, exclusively on the Nintendo DS™. For Sonic’s premier debut in the genre, leading RPG developer, BioWare (Mass Effect, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic) has created a slick blend of strategy and speed with fast-paced battles, character and party customisation, and the ability to collect and trade items via DS wireless.
Players will need to keep their wits about them at all times, as they will never know what will get them through the next challenge. With an engaging storyline, lightning fast attacks, high production values and impeccable visuals, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood™ allows gamers to experience Sonic in a whole new way.
Best of luck!
It’s GOT to be Big the Cat. There’s plenty for ALL of Sonic’s cast of friends, AND we get to enjoy the fact we will never see him again.
Oh wait, you meant THAT make…? Oh well.
I think the ONLY answer is Storm the Albatross, because he’s already a big turkey and then there would be enough to go around.
Who would make (as in cook) the best Christmas dinner?? That’s easy… I would say Amy! She really likes cooking, especially for such festivities as Christmas! She would do anything to make this dinner perfect (not just because of Sonic)because of all her friends she cares about and wants to make happy! ^_^
I would say Sonic. Hate the fact there would be no more games without him, but at least you could use his quills as tooth picks once you had finished.
Well, Obviously Vanilla! Shes a mother, and mothers always make the good food, or, Big, He catches Fish, and Fish always makes a good supper! But Id Say, the winner would be Tikal, She is a relic, seriously, and back then in the Echinda Times, there must be some really good herbs and food that the echinda ate that she knows of. ,
I would just like to add something:
If you remember, for Day 2 I wrote that I don’t want to compete. This time I changed my mind. I really want Sonic Chronicles. Someone important to me wants this game a lot so, if I’d win, I could make that person really happy…
Dr Eggman, as he’d probably be able to source the most sought after ingredients to suit most or all dietary needs, due to his entourage of robotics that could be used in transport enabling him to travel to virtually anywhere in the world and back in time for Christmas. In terms of cooking, he’d have many advantages over the rest of the Sonic crew as his Big Arm Mecha would definitely come in handy for whisking, retrieving food from an oven without the need for protective gear and serving many meals in one go.
Got a burning issue with your turkey? Do your roast potatoes look more like lumps of coal? Are your carrots as hard as Exocet missiles? LAMENT YOUR CHARCOALED CHRISTMAS DINNER REMAINS NO MORE! The best character at cooking a christmas dinner would have to be not a single character, but a team… Sonic, Tails and Knuckles. Why? When you have the SUPER POWER OF TEAMWORK ™ on your side, even the most challenging turkey dinner will come out perfect every time!
As for the worst? Blaze would be rubbish at cooking a christmas dinner. Charred on the outside, raw on the inside. That girl needs to learn to control her flames.
Mighty would be worse still. Smooth on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Armadillos…..
I’d say that Tails would make the best Christmas dinner. I mean he can make anything! He made an artificial Chaos Emerald and built the Tornado 2! He’d probably use some sort of Chaos Emerald powered cooker that uses their powers to cook Turkey and roast potatoes so delicious that it’d be impossible for anyone not to want seconds. He may be short but he can use his tails to fly up to the top shelves to grab the alcohol for the Christmas Pudding ;D
Strangely enough I would say Shadow. He doesn’t seem to have much cooking experience but in order to make a perfectly delectable meal you would need patience, perserverance, and grace. Shadow Most definitely has all three of those, as well as the ability to weed out all outside distractions, which is good if you have a bunch of pesky people bugging you for food.
I still say this would have been funnier if it was who we cooked for dinner, also much tastier.
Rouge the Bat
A. She is old enough to buy wine to baste the ham/turkey in.
B. After being drunk she would provide the best entertainment by flying and letting everyone watch.
C. She is old enough to buy some wine or other adult drink to have with the meal.
Serious answer: I think that the best chef would be Vanilla the Rabbit. We know that she has skills in the kitchen and is talented at baking cakes at the very least. Besides I don’t think we’ve seen anyone else do any significant amount of cooking, so she wins by default.
Worst Chef: This one could actually be won by a large amount of characters. But just for laughs I would say Blaze the Cat. After all her food would either be charred black, burn the house down or fish, raw fish.
Silly answer: If we’re talking about the worst character to eat for Christmas dinner, it would be E-123 Omega. Mmmmmmm twisted shards of sharp metal. The best character to eat would be Cheese or any other chao. They are made of delicious marshmallow fluffs and would be great for dessert. Yum yum!
