‘Children Of The Dance Dance Revolution’ was completed 18/12/05.
The continuation of the Party cycle, this comic gets its title from the iconic song ‘Children of the Revolution’ by Marc Bolan and T-Rex.
All comics and tv shows have a wise man. Obviously.
The ‘sacred song’ is a slightly truncated version of ‘Prince Charming’ by Adam & The Ants.
This disclaimer chunk about wise men refers to a section of dialogue from Blackadder II episode ‘Bells’ in which Blackadder is informed:
Crone: “Two things my lord must you know of the wise woman. First! She is…. A WOMAN! And second- she is-” Blackadder: “-Wise?” Crone: “You do know her then!” Blackadder: “No, just a wild stab in the dark which incidentally is what you’ll be getting if you don’t start being a bit more helpful.”
The next bit refers to the song ‘Baker Street’ by Gerry Rafferty.
‘An insane saxophone…’ (The long sax introduction) “Winding your way down to Baker Street. Light in your head and dead on your feet. Well another crazy day, you drink the night away and forget about everything.”
