Suzuki and Miyamoto to Appear at DICE Summit

For those that are not familiar with the names Yu Suzuki and Shigeru Miyamoto, let me bring you up to speed. Yu Suzuki is the creator of the popular games such as Virtua Fighter, Shenmue, Hang On, Space Harrier, and many more revolutionary games. Suzuki-san works under a little company named “Sega” 😉 Now onto Shigeru Miyamoto! Miyamoto is responsible for the world famous video game series, Mario Bros. Miyamoto also created Donkey Kong, Starfox, and many others. Miyamoto is working within another company called “Nintendo” 😉

The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences has announced that both Sega’s Yu Suzuki and Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto will be speaking at the DICE (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) summit to be held in Las Vegas on February 27 and 28. Other speakers attending the show include Ted Price, the president of Insomniac Games; Jason Rubin, cofounder of Naughty Dog; Ed Fries, vice president of game publishing at Microsoft; and more. A variety of game design topics will be discussed at the summit, ranging from developing sequels and designing RPGs to bringing games online and managing multiple projects.
