Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll Announced
This afternoon SEGA announced a new Super Monkey Ball game for the Wii. It is due to come out in early 2010 and is called ‘Super Money Ball: Step & Roll’.
The details of the game are scarce at the moment. What we do know is the it definitely supports the Wii Balance Board. It remains to be seen if the game is playable with just a Wii Remote. If SMB: Banana Blitz is anything to go by, this game should be a success. What I hope will be ‘additional’ support of the Balance Board should be interesting to use. In theory it is a good combination. I do hope however that you can play without a Balance Board.
Here is the trailer released this afternoon. Possibly the cutest SEGA trailer ever.
I’m telling you, if this game plays as good and is as addicting as the first 2 Monkey Ball games for the cube – Sega will receive a heap of regained respect from me.
Oh if I can play this game normally then I’ll love you Sega. The Super Monkey Balls for the GC were great fun.
Gotta love those cute little Pac-Man eyes.
Lol, more like step and fall. You know the end when he falls down. And the logo comes up.
And this is cute.XD
I wish they’d release a Super Monkey Ball game on 360. Maybe I should get Super Monkey Ball Adventure for PS2.
That looks like a cute game. I wonder which team is going to make this next iteration of Super Monkey Ball.
Come to think of it, which team made the SMB games? I’ve never even played one of them.
@Treleus:
Amusement Vision developed all the console SMB games except Adventure, that was by Traveller’s Tales Oxford, the team behind Crash Twinsanity.
One word: Cute
Heh that was pretty cute espcially at the end when he fell of that cliff XD
Naaaw… poor little Aiai at the end.
