Summer of Sonic 2016 Hits Fundraising Goal

The two year hiatus for the Summer of Sonic convention in the UK will remain just that.

On Wednesday, the £20,000 in fundraising needed to continue the event for Sonic’s 25th anniversary was met and exceeded. It happened less than a week after organizers introduced new pledge tiers for the effort on Kickstarter.

It means SOS will return to London on August 6th. Only ticketed individuals will be granted entry, and the only way to get tickets is to pledge to the event.
