Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing coming to Mac
Sega has announced today that Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing ( Yes, the first one), will be released to Mac systems. Ant they won’t have to wait too much, the game is going to be released next April 4th, both in boxed retail and digital download at Apple’s Mac App Store.
Like it happened some time ago with Sega Superstar Tennis, Feral Interactive ported the game to Mac computers, so now everyone with a keyboard and a mouse can play it, even if it’s 3 years later than its PC’s counterpart.
But, its not a plain copy of the original PC game, no. This time, Sega and Feral Interactive has finally given the game the Online Multiplayer it deserved, that the console version of the game had, but the PC one didn’t. The Minimum system requirements call for a 1.8GHz Intel Mac with at least 4.0GB RAM, 256MB or better graphics card and Mac OS 10.8.3 or later and the following graphics cards are not supported: ATI X1xxx series, ATI HD2xxx series, Intel GMA series and NVIDIA 7xxx series.
The game will be available at retail stores at America and Europe for US $24.99, £17.49 in the UK and €21.99 in the rest of Europe, and also through the Apple’s Mac App Store coming tomorrow.
