Sonic Runners 2.0: SEGA Is Removing The Spike Walls
After days of backlash and a reply from Aaron Webber, SEGA is listening. And not only have they listened but they acted upon it and gave an apology.
Emergency maintenance was done on Sonic Runners overnight which removed the obstacles that people have been speaking out against. In what was many tweets about the issue SEGA even acknowledged the move was due to feedback:
The matter was so significant that, for the first time in recent memory, the Sonic Runners Twitter tweeted in English:
The last couple of tweets went back to Japanese:
Not only were the tweets apologetic (the first few especially) but it seems they may be offering some in-game apology gifts to players too.
Currently the game is still down for maintenance for many people. We’ll let you know of any updates.
