Sonic Robo Blast 2 v.2.2 Launching Saturday

The next major release of longtime Sonic fan game project Sonic Robo Blast 2 is just around the corner.

Over the weekend, Sonic Team Jr. revealed that version 2.2, first announced last year as part of the fan game’s 20th anniversary, will be out this Saturday.

In the works for five years according to the team, this new version will include refreshed music, updated versions of in-game levels and bosses, and more.

The download will initially only be available as a torrent, so you will need a torrent client to download.

For those who play on Linux-powered machines, the team has stated only binaries will be provided for the platform; the main method of play will be through PC and Mac platforms.
