Sonic: Project Hero Demo Released
At long last, more than a year after its initial reveal, Sonic: Project Hero has finally released a public demo. The surprise conclusion to this year’s SAGE envisions a redefined new framework, mixing the best abilities, mechanics, and techniques from previous games in the series.
There’s certainly a lot to play around with here, including elemental shields, extreme gear, and even characters such as Tails and Knuckles. Hero, the man behind the project, aims to deliver a fresh and fun 3D Sonic experience while testing how Sonic’s different gameplay styles can complement one another.
You can help with his experiment by downloading the demo for yourself, and voicing your feedback on the new Discord server.

Copying-and-pasting what I wrote eariler on this game on SAGE 2019 review slew part 3.
“I recently saw the video for Sonic Project Hero, color me impressed. This is seriously the most interesting 3D Sonic fangame I have ever seen since Sonic Utopia. I hate to be one of those “Hey Sega/Sonic Team! Hire this person or take notes.” types of people but this fangame is honestly that good.”
