Sonic Comic Magazine Comes to Germany
Sonic fans from Deutschland have a new off-shoot franchise to dedicate themselves to. This month, a new comic magazine, published in German, was released.
It is a joint effort between Fremantle Media Enterprises and local publisher Panini. Nowhere in the press release, loosely translated below, is any mention made of Archie Comics, so this may be separate from the nearly 20 year series.
Goodies for the first issue include what appear to be a coupon for the Sonic merchandise store and a couple of toys. Thanks to Woun of Sonic Scene Russia for tipping us; if you help us learn more about what’s inside the issue, send us a news tip either on the website or via Twitter.
