Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed track names and details, revealed
It’s not a surprise to anyone that there will be a Shinobi, Billy Hatcher, House of the Dead and Sky Sanctuary race tracks on Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. But now they are officially confirmed by Steve Lycett himself.
Spanish site Sonic Paradise reported that at Sega Forums, Steve Lycett talked a little about those tracks, gave a few details on them, including their official names. About the Shinobi track, Steve Lycett stated:
Shinobi track is called ‘Seasonal Shrines’.. You start in Spring, lap 2 is Summer, lap 3 is Autumn. It’s really cool for that alone, though it’s a great technical track. The driving feel is very OutRun (in fact the whole track feels very OutRun!). Well except for the boats. Tons of route splits too.
But that is not the only one he talked about. He confirmed that there will be a Billy Hatcher track, and hinted hard at a House of the Dead one. Also, revealed the name of the Sky Sanctuary track.
Where says there is a House of the Dead track? I mean I’ve seen an arena in the video, but no official confirmation of a track…
I’d love to have a *cough* Graveyard Gig *cough* some day
Billy Hatcher track is called Chilly Castle, Sky Sanctuary is Sanctuary Falls.
That is a very subtle hint, but we can say it’s pretty obvious there will be a track, if we’re even given a name for it. We will have to wait for some official confirmation of it. So on, the revealed track names are this:
After Burner – Carrier Zone
OutRun – OutRun Bay
Sonic Colors – Galactic Parade
Sonic & Knuckles – Sky Sanctuary
Sonic & Knuckles – Death Egg ( From Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing)
Sonic Heroes – Ocean View
Sonic Heroes – Roulette Road (From Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing)
Golden Axe – Adder’s Lair
Shinobi – Seasonal Shrines
Panzer Dragoon – Dragon Canyon
NiGHTS into Dreams – Dream Valley
The House of the Dead – Graveyard Gig
Skies of Arcadia – Rouges Landing
Samba de Amigo – Samba Studio
Samba de Amigo – Sunshine Tour (From Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing)
Jet Set Radio – Graffiti City
Jet Set Radio Future – Shibuya Downtown (From Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing)
Billy Hatcher – Chilly Castle
Super Monkey Ball – Temple Trouble
hm. Looking at those Sonic tracks, I wonder if we can expect a second Colors one. Sweet Mountain would actually fit the game pretty well.
^ Not likely. Take careful note of those tracks.
Sonic & Knuckles – Death Egg ( From Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing)
Sonic Heroes – Roulette Road (From Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing)
These are the two “extra” Sonic tracks. Notice anything?
They’re both from Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. Death Egg was released as DLC along with Metal Sonic, Roulette Road was based on Casino Park/Bingo Highway.
Its notable, in fact, that Death Egg is the ONLY Sonic stage in Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing not from Sonic Heroes.
If they have another Sonic stage, it’ll probably (and I’d rather have it) be from a different game. Although, also notable is that I’m pretty sure we already do:
Metal Harbor
In a previous trailer they showed off game modes, including a battle mode (like in Mario Kart). In this battle arena-type mode, one of the arenas looked just like Metal Harbor.
It would be nice to have one more Sonic stage, but I’m not holding my breath. And besides, considering that the original game had an overload of Sonic stages all from the same game… I’m content having a lot less but from several different games. It also opens up room for games from other Sega franchises.
@UltimaHedgie : That arena was based on the game After Burner not Metal Harbor.
Im really excited for this game. I had great fun with the first one and I’m really looking forward to this one too. It’s great to see that there’s much more variety to the tracks here than there was in the first game. And the returning tracks are all really great ones too IMO so I’m not bothered by them being reused.
Hope there is some more tracks to come. I’m sure there will be.
“Graffiti City”
Wow SEGA, do you not know your own fucking games’ territories? What laziness is that?
As far as the tracks goes, I was hoping for far more variation but whatever. :I
@Haru: Did you notice that none of the tracks keep their level names?
Holy heck, did we just find out the rest of the tracks?? Woowwwww…..I feel like I just got spoiled big time, but maybe that just because I’m looking at a straight-down list. :/
This isn’t ALL the tracks, right?
So the name of the tracks from Shinobi,Billy Hatcher, and House of the Dead are unveiled such as Seasonal Shrines, Chilly Castle, and Graveyard Gig. Very impressive for those names.
@Knuckles Chaotix – Sadly, that list has 20 tracks.
16 = Racing Transformed.
4 = Racing.
16+4 = 20.
Lycett confirmed only 20 stages are in the game.
These are all of the tracks.
Yeahhhh……. 🙁 Lycett BETTER NOT MENTION EVERY CHARACTER!
I fully payed off my pre-order. I can’t wait to try out Graffiti City and the Panzer Dragoon level/character.
I thought it was 21 tracks
^ Outrun is a pre-order bonus, so it doesn’t count; even if it becomes DLC.
I count 19 tracks in this list.
i kinda didnt want sky Sanctuary. Since we already seen it in 3D. i was expecting like Lost World, Marble Zone, something like that, but it’ll still be a blast game to play:) (than again, therers DLC)
Starlight Carnival and Sky Santury are the only the tracks that are new to Sonic And All Star Racing game…
Hydrocity Zone would be cool for a boat/kart race perhaps, but I’m sure there won’t be any more Sonic stages
If there was going to be another Sonic Colours stage, it would most likely be Aquarium Park, since it has water for the boat. But I want Sweet mountain for my step brother since thats his favourite and Starlight Carnival’s my favourite.
@Ricardo There are 19 tracks total in the list including, the Bonus Edition Outbay track.
I look forward to hearing some of those songs being brought back to the table from the classic days…or perhaps NicoCW could insist they use his classic remixes that are epic 😛 heheh wishful thinking but nice idea though 😀
It´s confirmed there are 2 tracks left, one being huge fanservice and not based on one IP (maybe like last tracks in Sonic Riders). There are no more Sonic tracks and there are no tracks from characters who aren´t from Sega. Outrun is track #21, it doesn´t count in the total of 20 (Metal Sonic does count in the 29 characters limit).
Maybe the last stage will probably be the last stage for story mode where everyone fights Eggman to save their planets? The last could possibly have a mixture of every stage? I’m thinking really stupid… You never know though.
I think I remember in a pretty old interview with one of the developers that there would be a Space Channel 5 track… Does anyone else remember that? I’m hoping they stick to their word on that one. Oh, and there are 2 tracks not listed on this page, these aren’t all of them.
A final track!?!…I feel like its gonna be like an Eggman land track or something even more epic!:D…what ever happen to banjo and kozie?
Also, theirs been footage of Sonic all star move: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NHyORExi5c Really disapointed that his all star move’s not super sonic. Also Mee Mee’s confirmed and Knuckles’ all star move’s the Master emerald. Wonder what Shadow’s all star move is?
So most of the tracks are Sonic Heroes, Billy Hatcher, and Dreamcast Nobodies again. How boring. These games get more cameos than they have games…
No Phantasy Star? At all? I don’t get why they keep leaving Phantasy Star out of this game. Its one of Sega’s biggest franchises, and it’s Sonic Team no less, there’s no legal issues, and we just got a huge sequel. Ridiculous.
