Sega to Sue Yahoo! with Nintendo, Electronic Arts

Yes, the three will actually join forces in order to try and stop Yahoo!, the search engine turned multi-feature site, from having people auction off pirated or illegal gaming material. One of the things in question are MOD chips, among other things.

EBay, a rival site, is actually on Yahoo’s side, and this may be a sign that the two companies’ off-again, on-again talks to merge may have clicked on again. If Sega/Nintendo/EA win, this could be a huge setback for those wanting to play Japanese games on their domestic DC, or vice-versa, as well as several import game distributors.
