Sega Closing Shinjuku Joypolis Location

Sega’s arcade in the Shinjuku section on Tokyo will be closing this month.  The Joypolis in that area was facing growing competition, and growing costs to keep the place open.  This comes after rumors that Sega would get out of the arcade business were told to be false by Sega.  Of course, this news could not have come at a worse time.  At this point, all other Joyopolis branches n Tokyo will stay open.
