
Sega and Amazon.com Fight Piracy
In their continuing efforts to fight piracy on the web, Sega has teamed up with E-shop powerhouse Amazon.Com to stop auctions of pirated Sega material on the site. As you know, ever since Utopia was found to make pirated discs work on the Dreamcast, the company has tried feverishly to stop the piracy of their console, and has been quite successful. Hundreds of websites and auctions selling or distributing pirated material have been stopped in their tracks. We’ll have continuing developments on Sega’s piracy busts as they happen.
