Rodea The Sky Soldier Western Release Bumped to November
Rodea the Sky Soldier, the Yuji Naka developed project that’s had trouble finding a home in the west until NIS America picked it up for release in October this year.
At least, that was the plan. Today, NIS America confirmed Rodea‘s delay to November in all western territories. In North America, the game will be out November 10th. In Europe, it will be November 13th. No reason other than “technical difficulties” was given for the bump.
The game’s launch edition on Wii U will still come with the original Rodea game for the Nintendo Wii. Launch editions will also come with a reversible cover. The 3DS launch edition has its own set of extras, including a special soundtrack and a collectible box.
I can’t help but find this to be appropriate.
Music from Racer X.
You. I like you.
I’m glad to hear that someone else hear also enjoys Racer X’s music. I’ve actually been learning how to play “Scarified” on the guitar recently.

Ha, that was a silly mistake.
Man. if they don’t stop bumping it back they’ll be preparing an NX version too. 😛
Not really, since it’s already out in Japan. NISA is notorious for somehow glitching out games with their localizations. Whatever ‘technical difficulties’ they’re facing are not in the Japanese version. At least they’re delaying it to fix those problems.
Its quite sad that the Wii U will be obsolete a year from now (because let’s face it, as of next year’s E3 its going to be all NX). I’m glad this game is actually coming out for it.
By the end of next year, which I feel they will tough it out to, it will have been on the market for a little over 4 years. I don’t see it as that big a deal. It didn’t light the skies on fire, but it didn’t crash and burn either.
