Poo-Chi to the States Tomorrow
Tiger Electronics, which has the domestic rights to Sega’s robotic doll, will release them to FAO Scwartz tomorrow, the 19th. Blue, Pink, and Purple colors will be available for a mere 30 dollars. If you are don’t really know what this Poo-Chi is, here’s a quick review from IGN Dreamcast:
For those who are not quite familiar with Poo-Chi, it is a palm-sized robo-puppy that can sing, play games, and move around his virtual parts. Along the lines of the Tamagotchi, Poo-Chi requires your constant attention to keep it happy. Its food source is a “special bone”, which provides him with all the nourishment he needs. Poo-Chi features an “emotion engine”…this piece of machinery actually uses its chip to give its owner feedback as to its mood. True, the emotions are as simple as heart-shaped eyes (happy) or half-moon eyes (sad)…
