Official Sonic PR Releases Sonic Mania Opening Animation Early
It has been a busy day today, and not for the most positive reasons.
Sadly, 5-6 attempts by SEGA to put an end to a Sonic Mania leak stream didn’t stop the leaking from ultimately breaking a significant portion of the game as of this article’s writing. In response, SEGA has decided to release Sonic Mania’s opening animation early, 4 days before the reveal was supposed to happen. You can see it down below.

HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL THAT WAS SO GOOD
Not bad at all! It’s not the Sonic CD intro but still very good, also I’m glad the Hard Boiled Heavies are prominent in the story.
Now if only we can get some kinda full TV series or OVA animation like this instead of drab, boring, lifeless Sonic Boom.
Boom got better after Season 1 though. People are really digging it.
Not me.
Season 1 only had a few good episodes, Season 2 is just self reference jokes up the butt with stereotypical cartoon TV show plots with almost no devaition from them or anything to spice them up. Not to mention for being an something that’s supposed to be at least somewhat of an action show, what little action there is is stilted boring and uneventful.
Exactly my problem with Boom (and TTG for that matter). Saying “lol, look at these stupid things we constantly do” doesn’t excuse you from being terrible.
