Sonic Adventure 2 is heading to the Dreamcast at full-speed. Set to launch June 19, 2001, Sonic Adventure 2 is the high-octane sequel to the smash hit, Sonic Adventure. This time around, players can choose to play as Sonic and his team of heroes and set out to the save the world — or play as Sonic’s enemies and conquer all who stand in the way.

The story begins with a bang! Having been kidnapped by the military organization G.U.N., Sonic escapes his captives — only to discover an ominous figure in the shadows. The action ramps up from there, and Sonic must use all-new moves to progress through his adventure, including somersaults, rail grinds, and vine swings. Tails joins the battle as well, piloting a modified Tornado to take on the bad guys. Dr. Robotnik brings a similar vehicle into the fray with his Egg Walker.

Sonic Adventure 2 contains over 30 stages of single-player mayhem. But don’t forget your friends! This time around, you can drag them into the action with three different modes of two-player competition. Race to the goal as Sonic or his new nemesis, destroy your opponent as Dr. Robotnik or Tails, and race to find the emeralds as Knuckles or Rouge.
