Official: Daytona Coming to Dreamcast

Indeed, the time has come. We will soon be playing the most crticially acclaimed Sega racer on the Dreamcast.

Daytona USA: Network Racing was officially announced today. Not only will the title have many cars and tracks, with the occasional secret thrown in for good measure, but the title will also allow gamers to play online via SegaNet.

Says Rich Briggs, product manager for SOA: Daytona USA:

Network Racing delivers the fastest sensation of speed in a NASCAR simulation ever. Sega has the arcade heritage to bring you titles like Daytona USA: Network Racing, and only Sega has the ability to expand the legendary arcade experience by taking that content online.
