No Dreamcast DVD After All?

A Lycos-Wired Digital newswire is reporting that the Dreamcast DVD was at E3 only to show that Sega is able to do that technology, but it will not be shipped to consumers. The report goes on to claim that Charles Bellfield of Sega of America says that as more complex games are developed, the DVD technology will then and only then become useful to Sega. With this in mind, we shall see if the Dreamcast DVD peripheral will make it into the hands of consumers.
