New 30 minute Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed videos

PlayExpo in Manchester, UK, has given us lots of interesting tidbits thanks to the show Sumo Digital provided there along with the newer build the developers took along with them to the fair.

Thanks to that we got hold of the first Mee Mee sightings, and now, we have another video who shows her, along with several other details. In fact, this two videos shows the first 30 minutes of the game, including intro movie and World Tour mode,vehicle mods, the racer roster you can choose from at the start of the game, co-op multiplayer in World Tour mode, stickers, and much more.

The game is looking great. I love how Sumo is really pushing so hard in the presentation. From the menu where it’ll be easy to keep 4 players together with ease, the backgrounds with the floating islands that represent each track in the game, to the stages themselves. That Afterburner track is absolutely amazing, and it’s just a basic oval track. This really stomps on a couple of crossover games in terms of presentation. I’m sure Playstation Battle Royale is great, but I’m always put off by how the menu looks so bland. Just some basic SELECT YOUR X stuff, with the background being that wavy water thing they use is the PSP/PS3 xmb menu.
