LEGO Luigi Has Been Revealed

It had been accidentally leaked prior to the reveal, but now it’s official. Nintendo and LEGO have announced a Luigi figure that is joining the LEGO Super Mario set. It’s called the Luigi Starter Course. It’ll contain 280 pieces, and you’ll be able to combine it with all previous LEGO Super Mario sets.

According to the set’s official description, “players earn digital coins for helping LEGO Luigi complete spinning seesaw and flying challenges, interactions with Pink Yoshi and defeating Boom Boom and a Bone Goomba. The nougat brown colored bricks in this Tower biome also trigger different reactions from LEGO Luigi, and the ? Block offers extra rewards”. It’ll be releasing on August 1st for $59.99USD/£49.99/$89.99AUD. Here’s the announcement tweet:
