European Dreamcast Launch Info
This looks to be worded in such a way that Sega Europe may have written this:
It may have escaped your notice, but the kids have been especially good this year, and there is a very good reason – the new Dreamcast games console from Sega is coming to town for Christmas. Even Santa Claus has chosen to wear Dreamcast blue this year to mark the occasion, and he has had to replace Rudolph and his trusty sled with a couple of HGVs to cope with demand!
The Dreamcast is the most talked about high tech products this year and is currently riding high at the top of the most wanted list for Christmas – not just for kids but for grown-ups as well. Apart from being 15 times faster than Sony’s Playstation and 10 times faster than the Nintendo 64, Sega’s Dreamcast console also boasts online capabilities including free access to the Internet and e-mail facilities on your TV.
October 14th, Dreamcast launch day, will see more than 15 titles available as promised and there will be over 40 Dreamcast games on the shelves by the time Santa drops down your chimney. This is the strongest software launch line up of any console ever.
Dreamcast will retail in the UK at £199.99 and comes with free internet access to send & receive emails or surf the web from your TV.
This year, Christmas has a new jingle:
“Dreamcast please, Dreamcast please, Dreamcast all the way. Oh what fun it is to play on a Dreamcast Christmas Day…”
The sad part about this is that this isn’t the strangest thing SOE has cranked out for the DC…
