E3 2000: The Rumored Games that Weren’t

Two games in particular that were rumored or supposed to be at the big show were not. The most infamous one of these was Daytona 2. We heard that it was supposed to be shown behind closed doors. In truth, it wasn’t there at all, though some sources claim we will see it on the Dreamcast. Specifically, there are some licensing issues to be dealt with.

The other major title expected was NHL2K1. Considering the success of NHL2K, one would think that it would be there, but to no avail. Hopefully, we should still learn more about these games in the coming months.
