Dreamcast a Million-Seller in the US
Sega announced this earlier this week. After a little over two and a half months on the market, the Dreamcast has already sold 1 million consoles. This has industry experts (usually those Sony biased) baffled, especially since these figures usually happen over three months or more.
To add to that, the Holiday season isn’t even upon us (it unofficially starts tomorrow in the US with Thanksgiving, and Black Friday the next day, followed by the Christmas rush). Thus, do not be surprised if Sega meets or beats its goal of 2 million consoles by March 2000.
Stay with the Sonic Scene for the latest. Tomorrow, we’ll have public reaction.
