Black Knight to feature multiplayer?

Sonic & the Secret Rings has come and gone. I remember all the excitement for the game, and while the finished product wasn’t a fantastic game, I still found it to be entertaining. While the Adventure mode had its ups and downs, I thought the multiplayer aspect wasn’t very good. And from the looks of it, Black Knight will also feature its own kind of multiplayer.

If you visit the Nintendo Channel and check out the listing for Sonic and the Black Knight, you will see that SEGA has ‘multiplayer battles’ listed for the game. They also mention that it will be 1-4 players. No talk of online on the Nintendo Channel, so I’m guessing this will be another mini-game style outing, just as the last game.

Can’t wait for this game.

Nintendo Power confirmed multi-player a while ago back in like, March.

I hope it’s not like Secret Rings… Not that it was completly terrible, but it wasn’t good either…. If I wanted mini-games, would buy mario party.

But if it is a racing, just like good ol’ sonic games… *hope*

Not to be rude but I have the issue right in front of me and the magazine actually states, “When people see that Sonic is wielding a sword, they’ll probably have certain expectations of a multiplayer mode. And all I can say is that we’re thing along those same lines.”

There was no confirmation of a multiplayer mode in that issue.

Maybe it will be a little like Power Stone on the Dreamcast, you fight in a 3D environment and can collect powerups that appear in the arena!? Or it could be a SSBB style 2D hack n Slash …. however, I hope the multiplayer will rock this time!

Or It could be racing style, the fastest one wins …!? Mmmmh, … hope we will get some more information about the multiplayer soon!
Does anyone know if a release date is already confirmed? I´m not that much up to date on SatBK! ^^´

I was just playing SatSR yesterday…and I thought “My gosh, I can’t WAIT for a sequel to this!” I thought SatSR was really fun, if SBK raises the bar we might be looking at a revival of Sonic games!

Sonic and the black knight with multiplayer wow thats cool although I wasnt expecting black knight to be a sequel to the secret rings. When I first heard about it. I can imagine sonic saying this in the intro of black knight here we go again
