Archie Already Planning “Worlds Collide” Graphic Novel Re-Release

We just showed you the preview to the first of what will be twelve issues in the much touted crossover between Archie’s Sonic and Mega Man series, dubbed Worlds Collide.  But in case you want to wait for something more, you will now have the graphic novel collections to look forward to beginning in November.

Despite the first issue not even being on sale in stores yet, you can pre-order from Amazon the first of what will be three graphic novels chronicling the entire arc.  It will be available in mid-November, only three months or so after the crossover concludes.  What’s more, this release will include even more special features, including more Spaz cover art, and a script draft from Ian Flynn.

Frankly, there’s little purpose in supporting these latest releases as is with the knowledge Archie will simply re-issue them at the end of the year.  These types of treasuries make sense for Sonic Archives, but do you think Archie’s now gone overboard?  Tell us what you think in the comments below.
