Fan Fridays: ShiShiKo

Between Mania Adventures and Team Sonic Racing, these past months have seen a wealth of new music. Not only that, but Crush 40 is officially back in action, responsible for TSR’s main theme “Green Light Ride”. With the game merely a couple months away, why don’t we check out some fanart of the musicians themselves? Here we’ve highlighted a handful of works by artist ShiShiko, who’s reimagined what the band’s main duo Johnny and Jun would look like in the Sonic universe. They did an excellent job envisioning the pair’s likeness, with Johnny’s punk attire and Jun’s long locks in full force. Even the iconic hedgehog guitar is here! It’s a welcome tribute that’s sure to make any Crush 40 fan smile.

My only issue is that they are nearly the same color, and as a consequence, would not be very interesting to look at ^^; (Well, and they’re hedgehogs which is the most overused animal type for OC characters..)
Sonic and friends have so much variety and colors that pop and make them unique individuals~
To see Johnny and Jun be so standard of characters that would exist in the Sonic Universe actually does a bit of a disservice to them.
I would have used their favorite colors and animals and made them those!
Either way, its a very warm tribute to them, and Im aware my problems with them are my own and others might not see them that way~
