Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap Releases On April 18th

Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap has finally received a release date. The official developer’s blog has announced that the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions will be available on April 18th, with the PC version being released on a unspecified later date. However for those that have PSN Plus and live in European countries, you’ll receive a 20% discount when you pre-order the game.

However, the guys at DotEmu have also teased that there will be a surprise announcement on March 22nd. Whatever this surprise announcement is for, who knows, but based on how a previous update talks about switching between modern and retro aesthetics, it’s potentially going to be special.
