Sonic Shuffle Resurgence?

For a party game, there is clear division among Sonic fans as to the quality of the lesser known Sonic Shuffle for the Dreamcast.  While some found it a pitiful attempt to capitalize on the success of Mario Party, others had good fun with it.

The debate over the original has sparked up again after evidence has surfaced that Sega has re-trademarked the Sonic Shuffle name.

According to several reports, there are no further details given on the trademark application.  It could mean nothing, or it could mean a return of the franchise.  Shuffle would be a prime fit for the Nintendo Wii, and that is what many fans speculate could happen, should this tidbit yield news of a title in development.
