Sam and Max 2 may not be Cancelled After All

GameSpot is running an article about many LucasArts employees who have left their jobs to create TellTale Games, a studio devoted to producing point-and-click adventure games. the specific employees were working on “Sam and Max 2: Freelance Police” before the game got cancelled. The members of this team were moved by the overwhelming outrage expressed collective Sam and Max fans over the Internet. In fact, an online petition allegedly helped the decision.

TellTale has not announced any specific games; it is still wether they will finish Sam and Max 2, especially considering that Steve Percell, the creator of Sam and Max, is still a LucasArts employee. Still, a press release drafted to be released Monday contains three references to the game.
