SAGE 2014 Overview: Tails' Nightmare 3

The Tails’ Nightmare series has been away from SAGE for a little bit. But in Act 2 of the 2014 event, the browser based series from TheBlox is back–perhaps for one final time.

The booth for Tails’ Nightmare 3 includes notes from its developer that indicate, when complete, it will be the last in the franchise:

Compared to what the first Tails’ Nightmare game was in 2008, you could say the engine has grown into something memorable. This is not your average Sonic engine, but it still has all of its elements involving speed and momentum. I didn’t want the game to be exactly like a Sonic game; I wanted it to be more stand-alone, one of a kind, giving Tails an appropriate gameplay for his character. I plan to end the series as a trilogy; I don’t have any intentions on making a fourth. Tails’ Nightmare 3 will end the series, with a story to justify its epic finale.
